Current Vacancies

Pupil Advocate for Children & Young People with additional needs and/or disabilities

This is a Temporary position to cover maternity leave.

Hours: 35 per week

Location: Wirral

Salary Scale: £17,329.00 per annum

Wired are seeking to appoint a Pupil Advocate to work with young people in Wirral, in an educational setting, who are aged between 5–19 years and have a disability or additional need. The role is 35 hours per week, term time only, and is currently funded until 30th June 2012.

Carers Breaks Posts

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Wired for the creation of a new service for Wirral Carers.

 

NHS Wirral has commissioned Wired to develop, deliver and monitor a 6 month pilot programme of Short Breaks to unpaid Carers.

 

We are looking for 4 new staff members to join our existing Carers Team based in our Birkenhead Centre.

 

Candidates should be driven to provide quality services to a vulnerable group within our society. They should have excellent customer service skills and experience of using Microsoft IT programmes. Training and financial/accounting experience would also be an advantage.

 

Carers Short Breaks Officer 1 Full time post available

Hours:  35 per week    

Salary Scale: £19,000 to £21,000 per annum

 

Carers Short Breaks Administrator 3 Part-time posts available

Hours: 17.5 per week

Salary Scale: £16,000 to £18,000 per annum FTE

Closing Date: Wednesday 8th February 2012

Interview Date: 14th & 15th February 2012
